Save Mothers’ and Newborns’ Lives

The COVID-19 pandemic has instilled additional fears and anxieties for all mothers; and, for pregnant mothers, these fears have been amplified. Unreliable sources of information have led many pregnant women and mothers with newborns to avoid essential prenatal, childbirth and postnatal services, which could indirectly impact child mortality statistics.

Yemen’s Ongoing Crisis

After nearly seven years of conflict, Yemen remains the world largest humanitarian crisis. Food insecurities and malnutrition are among the main drivers of need for the children that urgently require your support in emergency country like Yemen.

2020 Annual Report

We will always remember 2020 for the challenges COVID-19 threw our way and how it threatened to derail our hard-won gains in creating a healthier, safer, more hopeful and equitable future for children everywhere. You help us keep children and their families safe from the coronavirus. Download full report and our representative’s message to donors.

Ensure Children Continue Learning

The COVID-19 emergency has not only resulted in school closures, it has also left millions of children and adolescents without support services such as mental health services and access to school counselors, which are critical, especially in times of crisis and uncertainties.

Give a Tribute Gift today

This Mother’s Day, if you express the love to your mother by sending her a UNICEF e-greeting card, you are at the same time sending a precious gift to a child in need that can help ease another mother’s worries.

Legacy

At UNICEF, we are united by a single conviction that every child should have the ability to change the world. Gifts in wills provide sustainable funding for us to help the world’s most needy and vulnerable children to survive and thrive.

A UNICEF Tribute Gift is a special way to recognise and honour a special person, and/or to celebrate special occasions such as birthdays, graduations, wedding anniversaries, job promotions, retirement, newborn babies by giving back.

See the Invisible Children

Some children in Malaysia like Aina and Irwan are unseen, unheard and more importantly are unable to complete schooling. Regardless of who they are, where they live, whether they have documents or not, children should have the right to access quality education.
